Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dobriela Kotova

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dobriela Kotova is a classical philologist at the Institute of Balkan Studies and Centre of Thracology at BAS. Her major interests are in the field of ancient languages and cultures, ancient history and Thracology. She has specialised at the universities of Saarbrücken and Heidelberg. She authored two monographs and a number of articles published in Bulgaria, Netherlands, France, Romania, and Greece. She has gained experience in bilingual lexicography as a consultant in the compilation of the Greek-Slavonic word index to the Old Bulgarian translation of the Book of the Twelve Prophets with Commentaries (Златанова 1998).
